At K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Katy, our large dog daycare is designed specifically for dogs weighing more than 30 pounds. Before joining daycare, each dog completes an evaluation to ensure they’re comfortable in the setting and ready for group play. Once approved, dogs join supervised playgroups where trained staff monitor interactions and maintain a safe, structured space.
Our daycare includes both indoor and outdoor play yards, giving dogs a variety of spaces to stay active throughout the day. All outdoor play areas feature K9 Grass, a specialized artificial turf designed specifically for dogs, with built-in Microban antimicrobial technology and a proprietary drainage system to support a clean, durable, and paw-friendly surface.
Our K9 Clean system helps keep all play areas clean and sanitized, while our team focuses on making sure every dog stays active, comfortable and happy.
Our team completes comprehensive training and certification programs, including Professional Pet Boarding Certification as well as Pet First Aid and CPR training, allowing staff to monitor playgroups with a high level of awareness and care. Staff supervises groups throughout the day to ensure dogs stay comfortable while enjoying social play and exercise.
